Secure Push to Talk (PTT) is designed to work like a police radio and provides police, military personnel and field agents with crystal clear yet secure communications at all times, Secure Push to Talk is rapidly deployable, is independent of the mobile network provider and uses its existing infrastructure.

Benefits
The programme benefits from very good audio quality and fully exploits PTT’s ability to broadcast messages and alerts to large groups. The solution utilises an encryption gateway in conjunction with a Nokia Symbian version 5 handset, such as the Nokia N97 or the Nokia Xpress music.

Secure Push to Talk will be officially launched on June the 1st 2010, but is already available at a cost of £600 per licence.
The solution works in the UK on the networks of Vodafone, O2 and the T-Mobile network.
